Amour Lingerie Internship
I was lucky enough to intern for Amour Lingerie during Summer 2021. Amour is a local lingerie store in downtown Des Moines, IA. I worked on various things like Social Media and new merchandise lines.
Social Media Project
A floor set I got to create using various color tones from some late winter and spring items in spring. Many of these items were pajama and loungewear with a hiding- but coordinated bralette and panty.
Amour means "love" in many languages. We got this neon sign to hang up in the store and I thought there had to be some fun lingerie and pajamas to enhance the new beautiful sign. Summer months are bridal season at Amour so we had lots of white lace in. I thought the white would go great with the pink and a new bralette and panty for the table below.
This visual was more detail oriented. I wanted to showcase the embroidery detail on our new French bra, panty, and bodysuit. I contrasted the photo with a yellow lounge set and added some black lace at the very back for some sexiness.
SKIN SS/22 Line
I got the opportunity to help with buying merchandise with Amour. I really loved these bra and panty sets as they are a great neutral for an everyday woman. The Pima cotton caught my eye as something that would be very comfortable to wear for hours at a time.
I really loved that these pajama and bra/panty sets were organic cotton being that I am a sustainability minor. They looked very comfortable to sleep and/or lounge in. Lightweight fabric is also important for sleepwear.
Rib knits and spandex together is a great combination. They are comfortable and never seem to go out of style. I really loved the combination of each style and the colors were very neutral to wear on a day to day basis.
